Yesterday at the Fire Station, I had my first real call. It was like everything came natural to me. I knew what to say and do. I gave the report to the nurse and registered the patient.
It's little things like that that make me think I can do this. A Fire/Medic at the station told me that the schooling and the job are actually to different things and the only way to learn this job is by experience.
Slowly things are starting to come together. Slowly, I am beginning to think I can do this.
